Hang Gang ToyCon 2014 Exclusives – Part 1

We are proud to present our first batch of ToyCon UK exclusives that will be available from our booth this weekend.

Up first we have 3 Negora tank sets that are sporting Bape inspired camp paint apps. They have been hand sprayed by the Max Toy Co. Head Honcho himself, Mark Negata. These are a true thing of beauty and photos do not do them justice. We only have 1 of each colour available and we don’t expect them to be around for long. They are priced at £160 each and will be available when the doors open at 9am.

We also have a super limited exclusive colour way of the Lady Darkness both regular face and masked versions. These top heavy beauties are cast in GID Japanese vinyl with pink, teal, black and yellow sprays. They are priced at £20 each and are sold individually.

We have 2 more exclusives that we’ll be able to share later this week, we’re just waiting for them to clear customs.

Our booth will be a treasure trove of Kaiju, with loads of Japanese artists & brands represented including, Konatsu, RxH, Uamou, Chima, Sunguts and Dream Rockets.

We also have a super limited amount of exclusives from last year that we held back, so if you missed out last time here’s your chance to try and fill a gap in your collection.

T-Con Custom Show

We’ve been busy behind the scenes at Hang Gang HQ lately! We had a major Kaiju & Sofubi restock today and we have lots more amazing items arriving over the next few weeks.

We have also been working something very special with our ToyCon UK brothers…

Following the huge success of the first ToyCon UK, the team behind the event are back and they’ve got a monster on their hands!

The guys have assembled a line up of super talented artists from the Eastern and Western hemispheres, armed them with the DIY edition of their stomping T-Con mascot and asked them to do what they do best.

“It’s great to see something you’ve invested so much love and time into be re-imagined and by artists you look-up to & respect. I was keen to make sure the line-up not only reflected the best of British and European artists but also showcased amazing artists from further afield which may be new to UK toy fans and collectors. I’d like to give massive thanks to Fig-Lab (Don) for all his help in getting so many great Japanese artists involved, it’s going to be an epic show!” Barry Darnell – The Hang Gang

“The UK toy scene is a melting pot of influences from the US and the Far East” says Jonjo Glynn, “even T-Con himself reflects this with roots in Japanese kaiju but with a modern designer vinyl twist.”

Its time to win Foster!

Do you fancy winning your very own cannibal cookie – Foster! This colour way was created especially for us by the awesome guys over at super7 as an exclusive Hang Gang / ToyCon UK 2013 release!

All you have to do to win Foster is the following:

Take a photo of your toy in a random location and post it on Instagram using the #winfoster and follow @thehanggang

Closing date for posting photos is the 9th of October. The top 4 photos will be selected by The Hang Gang team on the 9th october and posted on our Facebook account and Instagram account. The photo with the most combined likes from Instagram and Facebook will win. You will have a week to vote for your favourite voting starts on the 9th october and finishes on 16th October at 1pm.

Hang Gang x Chima Group Exclusives for ToyCon UK

Here is the official announcement for the last of our ToyCon UK exclusives and it’s from the creators of the cutest sobifu dinosaurs in the world, Chima Group. We have been stocking there products exclusively in the UK for some time now and it’s a real honour to have them create something extra special for us. Amedas (the rain monster) and Wool have been given the ToyCon treatment featuring the signature teal and pink colours and the subtlety in the sprays on them is a real thing of beauty.

They will be available at our booth from 11:30am and limited to just 9 pieces each. Amedas is £20 and Wool is £26, there has already been a lot of interest in them so we don’t expect them to hang around for long, if you need a sobifu fix you know where to come.

On top of all the exclusives we have just received a big box of RxH (RealxHead) figures that will be on our booth as well as stuff from Kidrobot, Gary Ham, Coarse, 3A and much more!

Hang Gang x Super7 Exclusive for ToyCon UK

In a bit of a ‘STOP THE PRESS’ moment and not content with all the amazing exclusives we’ve already revealed, we’re honored and delighted to bring you not one, but two, mind blowing exclusives from the mighty, San Fran based Kaiju Kings, Super7.

After a little hiatus and some much deserved peaceful rest, the awesome Super7 Mascot, Mummy Boy, has risen again and in true style… This eye popping golden idol is cast in shimmering pearlescent Japanese vinyl and features gold, silver and teal sprays. We’re not sure much more needs to be said about him, as he looks so dam good we’ll let the pictures do the talking!

Continuing the colour theme of teal and pink that has run through a number of our exclusives, next up we’re proud to present everyone’s favourite cannibal ice-cream sandwich, the loveable and super adorable, Foster! He is cast in Teal vinyl with a hot pink filling and blue sprays, he looks so tasty how could you resist him?

Big ups to Brian, Josh & the whole Super7 team for working so hard on both these amazing exclusives for us, you guys rule!

Both these release are super limited and will be available from our Booth from 10am when the convention opens, so come an get them while they’re hot! (strictly one per customer as with all our exclusives) The Mummy Boy is priced at £45 and the Foster is £20.
