Star Wars May the 4th – Full Show Details Revealed!

We are so happy to finally be able to share the details of our next show with you all…To commemorate Star Wars day ‘May the 4th’ FullCircle Gallery Leeds, The Hang Gang and Leeds Alternative Comics, have got together to host the ultimate celebration of the greatest films ever made!

Starting on Friday May the 4th from 6pm, FullCircle will be transformed into a gallery not so far far away, hosting not only a huge display of vintage Star Wars toys including over 100 carded figures and boxed vehicles, but a contemporary / lowbrow look at the Star Wars universe supplied by over 30 amazing artists including:

All the art will be available to purchase on a first come first served basis and any remaining items will be available from the Hang Gang website after the exhibition ends. There will also be vintage collectibles available to purchase too, including loose & carded figures plus other rare gems. Live music will be supplied by the Cantina Band and the evening will culminate with a screening of Star Wars, watching this master piece on mass with a beer in your hand, what more could any fanboy ask for.

Fancy dress is not compulsory but feel free to don the best Star Wars get up and come as your favourite character, this is a celebration after all! And for those who are peckish there will be Star Wars inspired food and drinks available from the ‘Wookie Cookies’ cook book!

There will only be 100 tickets released for the opening party on Friday May the 4th and they are expected to sell out very quickly. If you want to secure your place they will be available from 12 noon on Friday 30th March from our store. Tickets for the Friday are priced at £10 each + 50p booking fee.

For those who miss out on the opening party, don’t panic! There is still plenty of chance to see the exhibition, FullCircle will be open 10am – 6pm on both the Saturday and Sunday and there will be screenings of Star Wars again on both days starting at 6pm.

Tickets to the exhibition on the Sat / Sun are £3 / £2 concessions and children.
To watch the film on Sat / Sun is an additional £5 / £4 concessions and children.
There are no pre-bookable tickets for the Sat / Sun, it’s pay on the door only.

Please note on the Saturday and Sunday there will be no parking directly outside the gallery but there is plenty of free parking on the adjacent streets.

‘Icons’ Show Round-up

We wanted to thank everyone who contributed to our ‘Icons’ show and made it a huge success! The artists, venue, Dj’s, band, those who painted live, the bloggers, tweeters and all those who came to see it, we thank you all!!! Special thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets, we raised £85 for Leeds Children’s Hospital which we gave to them in the form of art supplies.

The Launch part was lots of fun and it was great to meet so many lovely people. We have a full feature over on our behance page and we still have some of the amazing Drew Millward, signed A2 screen prints, available in our store. The caliber of the customs was out of this world and together than made a truly stunning spectacle. If you want to snag one there is still a chance, head over to the custom toy section of our site. We hope this is the first of many live events so stay tuned.. On another note, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Hang Gang Exclusive Cavey Release

To celebrate the launch of the new Cavey website, which was designed and built by our sister company Analogue, we have a very special and exclusive Cavey release announcement.

Based on ‘Dave’ The Hang Gang mascot, these crowned Cavey’s come in 2 colour ways, grey & pink. The pink is super limited to 20 pieces and can only be purchased in a pair along with the grey version, the set will be priced at £30 plus shipping. 10 sets will be available at the launch party of our ‘Icons’ custom toy show taking place in Leeds this Friday 28th October, and the other 10, plus any left over, will be available to buy via our website at 7pm on Saturday 29th October.

For the first time ever the grey Cavey is going to be an open edition, meaning we can have them in stock all the time, so you can buy multiples, pick one up as a gift or even start your own army. These can be purchased separately and will be £16 plus shipping (please note these will be made available at a later date)

As an added bonus we will be offering FREE Cavey wallpapers to everyone, so you can pimp up your favourite devices, from iPads and iPhones to different sizes of desktop screens.
These will also be available on Saturday 29th October from both our blog and direct from the Cavey website.

Due to the very low edition numbers on the sets we are limiting it to one set per customer, multiple orders will be canceled.

Icons Update 3

Icons Update 2

Thanks for all the kind comments and feedback we have received so far regarding the show:) As it’s getting closer to the launch party the excitement is really building! The Limited edition screen prints have been ordered and the plans for the venue are all in place. Here are some work in progress shots to wet the appetite, courtesy of Matt Lunartik JOnes, who’s tackling one big beast of a custom and RunDMB who’s beautiful, unique and distinctive style really sets him apart! These are looking great so far and we can’t wait to show you the finished pieces!
